China is a huge nation and a great civilization. The first dynasty recorded dated back to 17th to the 11th century BC.

The landscape in China is vast and diverse, from tropical rain forest in the south west to the Gobi and Taklamakan deserts in the north, the Tibetan plateau and the Himalayas in the west to the fertile plains in the east. There are also the mighty rivers of the Yangtze and the Yellow Rivers, as well as 56 ethnic groups in China. All these make visits to China interesting and inspiring.

The History

As an ancient civilization, China has a rich history and culture. There are a lot of stories to tell when you visit its ancient capitals: Beijing, Xian as well as Luoyang and Kaifeng. Hangzhou is also an ancient city which was already prosperous when Marco Polo visited China in the 13th century. In the central part, the archeological discoveries in Sanxingdui and Jinsha near Chengdu established that the area was inhabited at least 4,000 years ago. To the west, Kashgar and Urumqi were important towns along the ancient Silk Road.

Let's take the historical and cultural journey of China.

The Landscape

China was the third largest country in the world, after Russia and Canada. China is bordered by Korea to the east; Mongolia to the north; Russia to the northeast; Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to the northwest; Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal and Bhutan to the west and southwest; and Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam to the south. Across the seas to the east and southeast are the Republic of Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Brunei, Malaysia and Indonesia. The varying landscape in China make China a perfect travel destination. In fact, the landscapes have inspired artists, painters and poets since ancient time.

The vast typography gives rise to majestic mountains like the Himalayas on the Tibetan Plateau, the beautiful Mt Huangshan and the mighty Mt Huashan (from Xian); the deserts and basins along the Ancient Silk Road, the spectacular Yellow River and the Yangtze River, the charming West Lake, the rich fertile plains in central and eastern China which form the pretty paddy fields, the tropical rain forests in Hainan... All of these only make your tour a rich experience.

Let's take on an unforgettable journey about the landscape.
