Jingshanling Great Wall Hiking Tour

The Jingshanling section of the Great Wall is some 130km northeast of Beijing. It is first constructed in Ming Dynasty, and is considered one of the most beautiful section of the Great Wall. This section is also known as the 'Wild Great Wall' - that unlike other popular sections which haven been refurbished in recent years, the Jingshanling Great Wall is left wild, and you can see ruins and the Great Wall as it was during the Ming Dynasty.

There are 5 towers, and each tower has its unique features and look. Far away from the madding crowd, it is quiet, natural and charming, and therefore, deserve a day exploring it.

The tour will pick up at 6am and it takes around 4 hours to reach Jingshanling. After arriving at the Great Wall, we will start the hiking which takes about 3 hours/6km. We will return to Beijing after lunch.

Pick up from hotel between 05:40 and 07:00. Pick up is within 2nd Ring Road only. If your hotel is outside of the 2nd Ring Road, please go to the MacDonald Restaurant nearby Exit C of Dongzhimen Subway Station. We will offer a simple breakfast. Lunch is included and you will return to the hotel by around 1830 hrs.
